Shri Ashvin Bharania a man behind Asha Children Hospital laid the foundation stone in the year 28-10-1986. “Charity begins at home”. His young son Ketan Bharania fell ill and there was not proper treatment available in Porbandar. Dr has referred Ketan Bharania to Rajkot. The idea sparked in his mind to build a pediatric hospital for children in Porbandar. At that time only children hospital not available at Porbandar The noble philanthropic idea was given its shape giving a first children hospital to the society of Porbandar and he was started to charity basis hospital for the needy and poor patients to Porbandar and nearby area His aim is to serve the kids as they are the God’s special creation and it can help in return rewarding us also.
