For this project we were worked by good planning like Porbandar city is divided in to 4 zones & fill up booklet separately. Three male ORW and PO were filled up the separate booklet for MSM. Female ORW were filled up the booklet for MSM From all zones. All the information about FSW was gave to female ORW. We were worked at night in the field. All ORW was filled up his own booklet as per their zone that’s why very less chances for repetition of information. Every three days PO was reported the progress of NA to Mentor. Every day morning sit the entire staff members & fill the booklet.

The type of Needs Assessment project is coming first time in the Porbandar city now in this Project were worker with two group MSM and FSW people. In this needs assessment project we were cover 54 MSM and 69 FSW people in a recently two months. The report of Needs Assessment for Female Sex Worker is cover the various area such as Subhas Nagar, Jawar, N. M. Plot, Chunana Bhatha, Harijan Vas, Narsang Tekari, Juri Bag, Birla Danga, Indira nagar, Raghuvansi Society, Chhaya, Ambedkar Nagar, Sitaram Nagar, Jubeli, GIDC, Kadiya Plot, Milpara, Jundana, Aerodrome area, Ranibag pachhad, Juno Khojawad, Manek Chowk, Sudama Chowk, Kamlabag area in the Porbandar city. In these areas people are living in slum, urban and industrial area and physical boundaries are 0.5 km to 4 km of each one area. The HRB sites in the Porbandar city are Close building, School, Canal area, Boat repairing area, Jawar area Ram mandir circle, Thakkar plot, Railway line, main road, Railway godan, Stony areas, Close quarter, Sea area, Garden, Open area, SSC road, Creek, School compound, Behind custom quarter, Adityana road, rural area, Under pull, Bus station, Creek area, Pull, Chali area, Quarter, jail area, Highway, Polytechnic compound, Ranibag, Brothal, home, Kamlabag, Cattle Hospital. The routine activity of the people like Fishing, Labor work, salt pan labor, Rag pickers, labors, Electricians, private and government services, Rag pickers, Mason Retail labor, Fast food Servicemen, Driving, Unorganized labor and cover major roads, buildings, HRB points gardens, markets such as Ship market, School, Health center, Community hall, Railway line, N. M. Road, Sandhiya street, line stone, Road, Residential area, Temple, Doctor, Road, Residential area, Open ground, Bus station road, Stony (Boxid) area, Garden, Market, SSC road, Gurukul circle, Chhaya road, Market, Garden, House of Santokben Jadeja, Water tank, GIDC main road, Quarter of mill, Old houses, Chali, Bahuchara mataji tample, creek area, airport and polytechnic, SBS bank, Gandhi statue, Kirti tample, Sudama tample, old court, bus station, Kamlabagh chowk in the Porbandar city. The time for the HRB activities are 1pm to 5pm, 4pm to 8pm etc. The general features of the areas especially of target group are Navratri, Ranadateda, Holi Mata, Naliyeri Punam, Dariya Pujan, Rama pir no mandap, diwali, Janmastami, Tajiya, Janmastami, Janmastami, Bhim agiyaras, (Sunday, Wednesday), Navratri, Sankrant, Diwali, Iad, Muharam in the city.

The people of the Porbandar city are mostly speaking Gujarati language whether some of the people speaking Hindi language because of they are coming from Maharastra, Madhya Pradesh and Nepal. The customs and tradition of target group in Porbandar city are Joint families, Punch of community solving all the problems, Bartert system of girl for marriage in specific community, Samuh Lagna, Alcohol use in marriage, Marriage is happen as per Hindu tradition, Nuclear family system, Merriage will be happened after testing the HIV report in Kharva community. Some of the castes and races are having leader such as Jayeshbhai dhakecha Vankar (Commu. Worker) Laljibhai chudasama - Vankar (Commu. Worker), Eku gagan siyad-kharava (President), Manojbhai Soneri –Community Mantri, Ramjibhai Patel, Valjibhai-commiunity worker, Mepabhai Vaghela-President. The myths and misconception linked with sexual behavior are The HIV/AIDS is also happen whether using the condom for sexul encounter, The sex activity os oppose to society, The sex workers women’s has not shy in the society, Oral sex is safe without keeping safety at the time of sex activity, activity, The oral sex is safe for sex worker , The sex activity is not doing when happening sexual transmitted dieses, HIV is occur only by doing a sex activities, Matajini aad (in sex), HIV is happen by keeping penish in the hand, HIV is curable dieses. The income in the target group is mostly 1,000 to 3,500 rupees per month and it is by industrial work, rag picker work, house work, unorganized labor work and it is expending in enjoyment, T.V. filmshow, and buying new clothes but out of this income mostly 500 to 700 hundred rupees are saving per month of the target group.

The total estimated population of the FSW tarhet group is 424 to 450 people in the Porbandar city (293 households) out of this mostly 15 Percentage people are using condoms in the target group 14 percentage people are suffering sexual transmitted dieses, In all over area will have total 9 peer educator in future. The estimated external stakeholders are 237 sexual health service providers are 20 in the Porbandar city. The powers of dynamic of the target group are the leader lady is giving various supports like economical support, social support, health related information helpful as and when Problems will arise, ALL FSW Women Follow to leader lady and giving guidance about health and customers, as and when police inquiry is come at that time giving support and information’ s to other sex workers, all FSW women follow to leader lady, leader FSW women giving information about network, give support in social harassment, helping in illness and other problems, Support in legal problems, Motivate when Social festivals. The target group is mostly using Kohinoor, Jarur, and deluxe and xxx condom for the sexual encounter. In last but not least established condom depot in various places like popular corner point, Gallawala, new and old fountain, barber shop, brothel places, bus station etc in the Porbandar City.
